Bathroom Reno in Etobicoke: Custom Tile Niche & Shower
The Renovation Wow Factor
After installing the tiles, the clients were very excited and happy about the renovation. It was when they realized they now have a brand new bathroom
Homeowner’s Review
Right from our initial meeting through to the completion of the job, our experience with the TRoC team has been outstanding! The job was a complete bathroom renovation, removing all of the tiles, fixtures and tub right back to the original studs. We were introduced to William, the site supervisor, and the work began on the date promised. William visited daily and provided continuous updates on what activities and who would be coming to the house each day.
Ralston and Mehmet worked tirelessly while insuring that a total clean up was done at the end of each day. The quality of work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We were treated as if we were TRoC’s only customers. The entire team were extremely polite, professional and more than capable of resolving any issues that came up during the project. We would absolutely recommend the TRoC company to anyone looking for a reputable company to manage any home renovation project!

Project Overview & Scope
Location: Etobicoke ON M9W 2W8
Initial Scope
Bathroom Renovation
Timeline & Trades
4 weeks – no problems or delays. Trades: MJF Plumbing, Electro Man – Electric, Laying Tiles Toronto – tile, Al Construction – Painting, Shower Lagoon – shower glass, We Haul – disposal
The Client’s Problem or Challenge
Before Conditions
Outdated tiles on the wall, bathroom tiles with dirty grout lines, which the client wasn’t able to clean anymore.
Site / Structural Hurdles
Only one bathroom in the house. Challenge around the toilet, which we basically put it back in working position at the end of every day. So the clients could use it during the whole process.
The Solution & Execution
Work Performed
Entire bathroom gutted to the studs, new flooring, new shower and tiles layout, new toilet and vanity, also new mirrors with lighting.
Materials & Custom Features
Custom tile layout with a custom niche. Shower glass custom to client’s requirement to be able to shower her amazing dogs: George, Willow and Betty.
Key Decisions
Change the vanity to a shallower one in order to fit better in the bathroom. The first one bought was too big and didn’t fit properly. Remove tile around the toilet to give a nicer, updated look.
Standout Details
Niche, Tile, black fixtures, light mirrors and shower glass
