1-First Contact and Initial Conversation
Every project begins with an initial phone call, online inquiry, or referral. During this first conversation, we take time to understand your renovation goals, general scope, desired timeline, and budget expectations. This allows both parties to confirm the project is a good fit before moving forward. We believe in honest conversations early to avoid misalignment later.
2-In Home Consultation
We schedule an in home consultation to review the space in person. This allows us to assess existing conditions, understand layout constraints, and discuss design ideas, priorities, and potential challenges. Seeing the space firsthand ensures we can provide informed recommendations and accurately scope the project.
3- Scope Development and Estimate Preparation
Following the consultation, we develop a detailed scope of work and prepare a clear, structured estimate. This outlines what is included, what is excluded, and how the project will be executed. Our estimates are built on real conditions and realistic timelines to minimize surprises once construction begins.
4- Design and Selections if Required
For projects that require additional planning, layout refinement, or finish selections, clients may choose to work with our designer. This step allows layouts, materials, and finishes to be finalized before scheduling and construction. Completing design and selections upfront helps control costs, reduce delays, and limit change orders during the build.
5- Agreement, Scheduling and Project Setup
Once the scope and estimate are approved, we move into contract signing and scheduling. A five hundred dollar deposit secures your place in our construction schedule and is credited toward your first invoice. Internally, your project is assigned a Site Supervisor and fully set up in our project management system to ensure a smooth transition from planning to execution.
6- Client Kickoff and Pre Start Meetings
Before construction begins, we hold structured kickoff and pre start meetings with all key parties. During these meetings, we confirm roles and points of contact, review the project schedule, explain invoicing and change order procedures, and discuss site access, parking, and any special considerations. This step ensures everyone is aligned before work starts.
7- Construction and Weekly Updates
Construction begins with our Home Protection Package installed on day one to safeguard your home. Your Site Supervisor manages daily operations, coordinates trades, and oversees quality control. Throughout the project, you receive consistent weekly updates outlining work completed, work planned next, any decisions required, and potential schedule considerations. Clear communication is maintained from start to finish.
8- Mid Project Check In and Issue Resolution
Midway through the project, we conduct a formal check in to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns early. If issues arise at any point, they are escalated through our internal process and resolved promptly. This proactive approach helps prevent small issues from becoming larger problems and keeps projects moving smoothly.
9- Completion, Walkthrough and Warranty
As the project nears completion, we conduct a final walkthrough to review the finished work and identify any outstanding items. Once those items are addressed, a final cleanup is completed and the project is closed out. Your fifteen year workmanship warranty is then registered, providing long term peace of mind and continued accountability beyond project completion.
